📌 Role Details:

Compliance Coordinator - Enrollment

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (dotted line reporting to the Sr Vice President, Compliance, Accreditation, and Professional Services (SVP-CAPS), the Student Services Coordinator will serve a vital role to the organization as we expand the opportunities within Intellectual Point. This position will be responsible for supporting the enrollment experience for all applicants enrolling in our programs, with an extended focus for our residential enrollment experience. This person will be responsible for ensuring the student has met the requirements for enrollment and that the student records are complete upon enrollment for the program/pathway of enrollment, in compliance with the Program Requirements, Benefits Requirements, as well as Accreditation standards. This position will also assist students and third party vendors with regards to the Veteran Services Programs and ensure Intellectual Point complies with state and federal regulations related to the certification and validation of Veteran Enrollments.


💸 Started Salary Range: $35K-$45K, for a starting salary with minimum requirements.
😊 Status: Salaried, Exempt position with no overtime.
📆 Desired Hire Date: May 1, 2024 or earlier if possible
📌 Location: In-Person Position with limited travel.
💖 Benefits: This position is eligible for company benefits to include health insurance, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) after a 90-day probation period. Terms and conditions for positions within Intellectual Point are provided in the offer letter.


🌐 Responsibilities:

  • Engage with Students and Counselors regarding education programs, requirements, and enrollment process, including giving site tours of the primary campus (Sterling, VA).

  • Ensure compliance with all regulations related to educational benefits.

  • Maintain accurate records of certifications and student data

  • Collaborate with institutional leadership to address any issues related to compliance. Verify student enrollment status, ensuring that the necessary paperwork is submitted to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and or Department of Defense.

  • For Vocational Readiness and Employment:

    • Work closely with VR&E counselors to support Veterans’ vocational rehabilitation and employment goals.

    • Assist Veterans in accessing educational and vocational resources.

    • Coordinate efforts to enhance employment readiness and job placement

    • Facilitate communication between the NCD facility, VR&E counselors, and Veterans.

  • Customer Service and Student Support services to include:

    • Provide excellent customer service to Veterans, dependents, and other stakeholders

    • Answer inquiries related to VA benefits, enrollment, and certification

    • Assist students in navigating VA processes and resolving issues

  • Maintain annual training with the vendor funding programs, to include:

    • Department of Defense Training for Education Institutions

    • School Certifying Officials Annual Training

    • Internal Training from Leadership related to position


🗝️ Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (relevant experience may be considered).

  • Knowledge of VA educational benefit programs (e.g., GI Bill, VR&E).

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Familiarity with VA systems (e.g., VA-ONCE) is advantageous

  • Experience with alternative veteran funding programs (State Vocational Rehabilitation, Credentialing Assistance, COOL) is a plus, but not required.

✅ In-Person Role Expectations

Must be able to perform all job requirements with or without reasonable accommodations, remain in a stationary position during shift, with ability to move through the facility for tours in a multi-level facility. Must be able to operate personal equipment and apply established protocols in a timely manner. Must access, input, and retrieve information from technology devices, and communicate with other to accomplish job requirements. While standard hours are 9:00AM – 6:00PM Monday – Friday EST, may be required to work outside of those hours based on institutional needs or student operations throughout the year.
